God’s Love

My son and I have a bit of a game we play. It’s called “Who loves whom more?” As you can guess, he claims that he loves me all the way to the top of God’s head in heaven, and then I claim that I love him to God and back times ten. And on and on. But in thinking about my love for my child and being unable to adequately express the depth and breadth of that love in words, I think that this must only be one tiny, miniscule fraction of the love God has for us, his children. And with that, I let the David Crowder Band take over in this video below of their song, “How He Loves.” Let God touch your heart today. JESUS LOVES YOU!
No IFs, ANDs, or BUTs about it!
There was just a nudging in my spirit today that someone needed to hear that.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3).
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:9-10).
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6-8).
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:37-39).
SO, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS, CARRY THIS WITH YOU:
JESUS LOVES YOU!
